Braemar Park is an inviting place to sit with a friend or enjoy a stroll. This peaceful and quiet park offers an open playing field lined with a few of the largest and most impressive maple trees in the area.
The site was purchased from the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1920s by the Municipality of Point Grey. The name was taken from the former Braemer School for Girls which was located nearby. Braemar is a district of Scotland famous for its deer forest and castles. The purpose of this blog is to visit and review all parks in the City of Vancouver.
