The long, green terraces of Winona Park are popular for a variety of sports. Pleasant seating areas, sheltered by large shade trees, line these open fields and are perfect for quiet contemplation or conversation.
Though the park’s original opening date can not be verified it is certain that it was designated as an official park before 1930 when Vancouver was amalgamated. The field house was built in 1961.The purpose of this blog is to visit and review all parks in the City of Vancouver.
