A small park in point grey with English bay views. This small and quiet park is filled with Douglas fir and dogwood trees. English Bay can be glimpsed through the boughs of these trees, which also shelter a playground area. Originally a park in the Point Grey Municipality prior to amalgamation in 1929, it was named for the neighbourhood where it was located, Westmount, comprising the subdivision between Blanca, Belmont and West 2nd Avenue. This neighbourhood in turn was named after Westmount, Quebec.
The purpose of this blog is to visit and review all parks in the City of Vancouver.
